The CGT is no longer the badest road going P-car...Porsche announced the 2011 Porsche GT2RS is the most powerful road going Porsche ever built. Specs on this thing is just plain RIDICULOUS!! 620 HP. 0-60 is 3.4 sec. It's 205 MPH top speed is only limited by gearing says Porsche.. Its rear wheel drive not awd. Lots of Carbon Fiber used in its construction..... And here is the kicker Dan... Its only available in 6 speed MANUAL!!!!! MSRP is $245,000......Now go order you one.....

I thought the 918 (which just got green lighted for production) was to be the new BadAss Porsche.

While the 918 Hybrid might not be the newest news, you do know that they have 3 Boxster test mules that are 100% electric and claim that they might offer an all-electric version as early next year (2011), although I wouldn't hold my breath.

oh, oh, I give a shit!

It's the way of the future, maybe not the immediate future, but it won't be long (maybe 3 or 4 decades) before most all cars are Hybrid or 100% Electric. Does this mean I condemn ICE cars? Hell no, but I do love innovation. The 918 is supposed to be 608HP, 0-60 in 3.2s, lap the Ring in 7:30 (quicker than a C-GT), and top end of 198mph. Oh, and if driven for economy gets up-to 78mpg. Come on, you have to respect the engineering and innovation that went into designing the first hybrid supercar that can achieve those feats!

konatown

I don't care about all the hybrid jazz, just more reliability issues..
But that is the best looking Porsche ever. Beats the Cayman - the only other good looking Porsche.

Yeah, but with the hyper-inflation we're in for.....you know, $8 loaf of bread and such, then that equates into about only $200K! That's doable!

Seriously, I was thinking they were saying $600K, but still, would have been nice to see it at the $400K mark or just over if it is to be the C-GT replacement.

However, Kona, I still think this is the best looking/best P-car out there.....
