after experiencing the CGT Im deffently down for light weight, bare bones, raw, brutal, CF tub cars all the way.

Does anyone know anybody with an F40 I can talk to? See there car perphaps?
Maybe get a ride?? Possible swap rides if they are crazy enough??

The Diablos days are numbered one way or another.
Its like the NSX, abosultely amazing (though less perfect) but it just cant compete.

And if anyone see one for sale under 425k please let me know
Im no gonna pay that much, but its a reasonable point to haggle em down into reality

Are you sure? I don't think it's Mike. He has every other Ferrari model but I don't think he has an F40, I think that was somebody else. Does'nt Vettecop know him?

That is a car DM1 on FC had for sale. I have not followed the ad since I posted that info, so I don't know where it went. Sounds as if it will be one of your customers now.

Ive found one, but its like pulling teeth to get any info to me from my broker talking to his broker talking to him.
Two weeks later and all I know is hes come down 10k.
I still dont have a VIN, maintance records, past history or damage or not, what kind of upgrades were done to turbos and whatnot ect.

If everything is inline, with upgrades they are asking a fair price.
And after talking with Brian its about the same cost to keep running as my Diablo and more reliable as it doesnt have any electronics really aside from boost/back preasure/ fuel mixutre stuff with aftermarket exhausts.

would be nice to trade the Diablo in and get this
we shall see......

Look at the exhaust system differences between the track and street cars.

Also Top Gear on You Tube has a great video of old vs new where Jeremy C says the F40 is HIS FAVORITE CAR OF ALL TIME

Just 2400 lbs, no nanny gear.

Ferrari claims like 2600, but they are a good 3000-3200 in the US

it is cool to look at the LM/GTE race cars vs street, escpeically with no muffler BS

JamesList has one for $465k (asking, you could probably work $40k off I would imagine), it's in Dallas and it has 7,400 miles on it. I'm assuming it's legit and it's not out of date. I didn't call.

lol

the one Im looking into now is at 385k, which is more than I want to spend BUT has turbo, brake, seat, etc upgrades
which I would do anyways, so I can justify a lil more.
Im sure they will come down a good bit more as its at 11k miles and doesnt have full records, been on the track, and 5 owners. None of which I car about, but alot of Ferrari nancys are looking for garage queens.
11k miles over 20 years is not alot at all, except for F40s its kinda high milage

after the Diablo low milages problems, I want nothing to do with anything under 10k miles no matter what the price, in fact if its over 20k miles even better!!

finding F40s is hard (even though they made the same number of CGTs and they are everywhere) let alone high milage ones, so I may be waiting a bit. On top of that in 07/08ish they were 450-600k cars, but back from 01-06 they were 315-385k cars makes buying now hard to justify as they are on their way down again

That is some guy in Italy, notice it turned over just as he pulled up to the factory track.
Good planning right there.
