So...

For the holidays, my brother thought the most responsible thing he could get me would be a G-tech Pro RR. For those of you who haven't seen the commercials with the silly guy and the Supra, it's an accelerometer.

It can, if programmed correctly, measure:

G-forces (any direction)
0-60mph
1/4 mile
Net HP
Net Torque
and Top Speed.

I played around with it a bit in my wife's Impreza, but haven't really done much with it with the NSX. So, Dan got ahold of me and figured we could try it out on the most heavily police patrolled day of the year...

After about 6 LEO close calls, we managed the following:

From 3 mph rolling Clutch-drop start (for clutch preserverance):

3.47 0-60mpg
11.61 @128mph 1/4 mile
547 Net HP
518 Net TQ
.88 G's accelletion

There's a video in the Gallery. I'm getting better at calibrating it so it's starting to get really accurate. Any other takers?

I'd do the NSX, but I don't want to embarrass any of you.

and wasnt it 1g+ in braking

oh yeah, bring on the Thunder Vette!!!!
I eat leaf spring cars for breakfast
hahahahha

oh, and it WAS ONLY LIKE 40 out!!!!

AND

from a granny start, not a clutch drop, just a normal start at any light AND shifting early before redline in 1st (1st goes to 62)
0-60 4.7!!
thats as fast as the NSX with a 4500 RPM clutch drop!!!

11.61 like above... I fat-finger'd the video info.

Also, I was going to load up the software to the pc as it has analysis software that goes with it, but then I turned on the PC and I realized that I had just got a new Processor and thought maybe I'd try out some games on it first and then... well, y'know... it was time to go to work.
