Went to the museum today. They are displaying past winners. this display is at least through the end of May. Seriously cool! Just giddy walking in.

Click the link for all the cars that were on the floor. ~ 90 pics.

FYI...
The Marmon Wasp was out having new wheels installed so it can be driven during the 500 pre-race activities!
The 1969 Mario car is a replica since the original is at the Smithsonian.
The most recent winners are still out being raced.

Hope you enjoy!

Yea!! It's 500 time.

Somewhat related, and from the "Where Are They Now" files...

I saw in our local paper yesterday that Milka Duno is making her ARCA debut in Salem, Indiana this weekend at the Salem Speedway.

Big year this year for me. We are displaying a bunch of our Stutz's on Fri the 13th and Sat the 14th. I also got a Silver badge with race day backer card this year!!!! My new job has its major perks!!

So what's the difference between the silver and bronze badges? We have the bronze.

I'm jealous of the pit pass!!! We had access to one of those for qualifications last year. Hoping our buddy comes through with two again this year.

IMS says to Donald Trump, "You're Fired!"

The Donald will no longer be the pace car driver this year. He has been let go.

I'm hoping they make it a former 500 winner. That's the way it should always be. Period.

I do believe HE bowed out, but it was probualy just an attempt to save face. Sad how people up and run like chickens these days when a handful of people get all pissy.

This morning, Trump reported saying he would not back down. Then in the afternoon he says he doesn't have time. Yea right. He was given the opportunity to walk.

I for one am very glad that he is not part of the Indy 500. He has nothing to do with racing or the auto industry. IMS has picked AJ Foyt to drive the pace car. Mush more fitting to honoring the history of the race.

Celebrities started driving pace cars about the time abc started carrying the race. Lots of publicity for one of their shows.

BTW, I am wondering how they are gonna get AJ shoehorned in the pace car.

I assume he saw the writing on the wall. They brought him in to draw attention to the race, he did, they kinda wussed out.

In the end I dont care at all, and Im sure Trump doesnt care much, he'll go back to his billions and bangin his super model wife
