No, but that is interesting. Hope that person is not a jerk, be a shame to get mixed up with them all the time!

Yep. Have some things to do before it can run with this bunch, but the parts list we have should help to that goal.

Congrats on the new car! Pretty.

My dad had a 1959 MGA 1600 Coupe. Painted British Racing Green. He got rid of it ~1964. Blame my sister and me for being little kids.

TrixZee's brother got rid of a MGB within the last 3 years. It had been buried under a pile of grarage junk for years. I heard the guy that took it has already restored it and is cruising around Louisville when the weathers nice.

Victoria British out of Lenexa, KS. http://www.victoriabritish.com/
They handle MG, Triumph, Sunbeam, Austin Healy parts...yea...the British stuff.

They have several different divisions. Long Motor Corportation is the head company.
Black Dragon Automotive is the division that handles Z parts. Excellent company to deal with. Also been long time sponsors for our regional Z shows.
Also have a truck division.

DEFINATELY not the same car. She bought this one from (you ready for this) two lesbians. And no, she did not know them.

Her 4th B. We found this one like this:

Her: honey the dryer is not heating up.

Me: put it on the list.

Her: I'm still drying clothes on a line, please don't forget about the dryer my loving, wonderful husband.

Me: ok, I checked it out, the element and high stat are bad. A new dryer is not in the budget, but a guy in Columbus has the parts for 37 dollars. Wanna go with me?

Her: ok. (One hour later). LOOK AT THE EARLY MG FOR SALE!!

Not ruling anything out. Did you know that MG did offer a V8 version? They used a Rover V8 which had a front mounted distributor to clear the cowl. Note, lightweight LS motors have no distributor.

But for now, this is an econo runner. Insurance is 52 buck per year at Hagerty, gas mileage is awesome.

Equally impressive, you've only derailed this topic twice so far.

My old neighbor for like 10 years until last year, was the consistent winner with MGs. The couple's name is bill and trudy and are very active in the indy area with MGs. They have two or three that are beautiful!
