Here are a few pics.... They had it at the SEMA show.... I was not as impressed as I though i would be.... Fit and finish was OK but for over $300,000 needs to be somthing a little more special than what they produced...... Looks like a overpriced GTR in my opinion...... And sorry Dan.... Ghey paddles only and a single disc clutch at that... FAIL Lexus.... FAIL..... Stick to what you know best comfy cruisers and mommy mobiles.....

It sounds good, but not great. And that is the nicest thing I have to say about it.

I'm not gonna lie, I like how it looks head on and sideways, but looking at it from the back wants to make me vomit

except the 3 tip exhaust, I think that's a nifty look

no i can't. what am I? an accountant?
I said i'm laughing at the haters, did I ever say anything about the price tag?

Have you thought about how expensive a car is to put in production, give it somewhat of a warranty for an insanely low production car (500 right?), and give it an exclusive, chassis, engine, suspension, etc?

I'm sick and tired of the idiots complaining how "expensive" it is. It's still a car with what state of the art technology can offer, and it's for 350k.

I may own a Lexus but I'm not defending the LFA, at all. I think it's not the best looking car out there. Different people have different wants. The higher the cost gets, the more money people are willing to spend to have that very small part of the pie.

Look at the details that went into it. Maybe you'll appreciate it a bit more then.

A very good point. But I don't have a single issue with the price; with only 500 units world wide they will sell that without a doubt.

But this car is too unique and radical, the only technology that will trickle down or atleast influence other Lexus is what exactly? It is a pointless exercise that has missed the mark by being:
A) A very polarizing design (read in the running for ugliest car since SC430 and Chevy HHR introduced) and
B) Is not groundbreaking at all.

They do not have a foot in the door for continuation with a market for $100,000+ cars. It all seems to be an exercise in futility. As have the vast majority of vehicles in their line-up as of late (Looking at you IS-F and IS-C).

Well, I think it's silly of them to try to compete with the LP640 / 458 when they've never made an exotic car before. Not saying it can't be done, see Pagani and Koenigsegg, but those companies were dedicated to that goal. I'm not an accountant either but I think it would be possible and more reasonable to produce more and sell them for less and compete with the GTR / 911 / Z06. I think it's a little pretentious of them to think anybody would want an exclusive Lexus.

I suppose some ricers have to eventually get rich I'm sure they will sell with such low numbers, but really, the only draw is the exclusivity. It's an ugly car and while it may perform well, so do a lot of cheaper, prettier, better built (going off of Indy430's post that the fit and finish wasn't impressive) cars. I've looked at the details and I like the 3 exhaust pipes but that's about it.

even though 350k is a rip off for that car they are probualy giving it away. Same with the CGT and Veyron. SOme companies got the money to blow and not really recoup for the sake of attention or technology. Some dont like Pagani and Koenigsegg, hence their prices.
