Carbon ceramics tend to do that.

How close in stopping power is it to the CGT?

idk, I was too scared to slam on the CGT brakes. It was cold out and that car is twitchy (not AWD) and not mine. If I wrecked the G SL the dealers insurance would cover it, it I wrecked Johns CGT hes SOL cause hes self insured, so I was VERY careful

Dan, I wondered why Tony was so pale when you guys join us for lunch. Glad you had a good ride. I only wish I would have had the time to drive the 240. I will the next time I'm up there. Have a good time on Saturday.

lol, I did warn him. I told him we should go to Lambo of Chicago to get the Orange demo SL because I was gonna beat the shit outta it, and I would feal bad about doing that to a new car with only 180 miles

...afterwards I didnt feal bad at all

you need to drive the 240 ASAP!!! the brakes are great and the SC has a nice wine to it , maybe the time to trade in the Elise has come

As much as I know I'd like the 240, I still want the targa top. This time next year my Elise will almost be a 240. The Lotus supercharger kit is due out and by then I'll need new brakes. Lotus Sport makes a great big brake kit. I believe it's the same as the 240 brakes. That and few other tricks and I should have around 255 - 265 hp at around 1800 lbs. Not Lambo sexy, but will scare heck out of most folks.

Thats actually the demo they have from the factory. They had a black one there next to it when i was there over the weekend. I dont know if I would want to pick a dealer demo up on a car like that...especially with people like Dan test driving them!

So why dont you look at getting one of those instead of a challenge Stradale. Or you can pay a $75,000 premium for one of the two F430 Spiders at MAG

f*ck the 430, and any convertable

idk, we shall see
the CS is cheeper and much ligher
the SL (super lightweight) is only super to the extent of 150 lbs, I can get that with out a passenger, thats only 5% lighter, hardly super. But it does have torque...then again I already have a Lamborghini
and the CS looks better IMO
