I added a new section -
Videos
Uploading
should work ... I've only tested a couple files.
You should be able to upload AVI, MOV, MPG, MP4, and WMV videos.
It will then convert them to flash ... this will take a while but it'll appear on the video listing as "processing"
Let me know if there are any problems.

UPloading videos has a progress bar so you don't have to wait blindly for it to finish uploading. I tested with some pretty big videos so it should work fine.

It's not broken, it never worked
I have to download the videos and convert them on my computer, it doesn't do it automatically. But in the past I usually got them within a day and recently I just haven't had the time to do it

OK, understood. No problem Andrew. The last 1 I uploaded was a .flv. It's of Dan and Mark doing their thing in Detroit. Figured it was a good 1 for our site. Anytime you've had a tough day at work or in school just watch it. You'll break up over those 2 guys.

Andrew, it still doesn't work. I have the .flv file of Dan and Mark's "Class Act" from the Lambo booth at Detroit.

Ok, I put that one up since it was the FLV. The others I have to process still and will take a little time

Thanks Andrew, you have to admit that this will one day be a classic.

Try it Mark. Or you could post the url link. I can ftp it to one of our company sites and give you the url.

If it were Chicago, a Pontiac, and parked in Long Term Parking at O'Hare Field you would call it an Italian mausoleum.

I still haven't watched the Dan & mark video yet, since my speakers aren't working, I don't want to spoil it
As for embedding videos as you see, you obviously can't right now and I don't think I'll enable it because that would open a lot of security loopholes (hackers embedding their own code into the site, etc..)

I must be tired... I read that, made a confused face, and then kept surfing... then about a minute later... OOOH!! I GET IT!

Alright... Dan your GTech video is finally up... I can't get the old program I was using to work and my speakers aren't working either so I'm not sure if the sound is there. And it's too blurry to read the screen on the gtech. I'll keep the original file and whenever I get the old program working again I'll reconvert it but this'll have to do for now

oh man.. I just watched it
That's hilarious!
I reconverted the GTech video too, it's slightly better quality (but still impossible to read the screen)

Let's just say, a lot of stuff was done on an assumption of permission...
