One more week here, then I'm in New York until Aug 19, then fly into Zürich!

I love it here, I wish I could live here. It's expensive but the scenery is beautiful, Québec City was perfect, just the right size, very clean, nice mix of old and new. And I like French.

Do you speak french? Cause quebec city aint english friendly at all! Last i checked they dont even have an english newspaper or radio station

I don't speak any and I was fine. Plenty of English friendly people/areas.

Enough to get around and buy things at least. When I first got here I stumbled a lot and people would switch to English, but nobody was unfriendly. The last few weeks I've done better and gotten through most conversations in French

I could read and speak some, but never could keep up with how fast they talked to understand more than a few words.
Surprised they were so willing to speak english in quebec city, that place used to be so anti english it wasnt funny
