He only had the car for a few weeks and then sold it so it's been gone for quite some time.

Is there any car he does keep?!?!?!?!
I found out its for sale in ft lauderdale....my broker can get it for me relatively cheap....not sure I want a rich racer car drivers car though....

Why does the link you posted say the item location is Ontario, CA?

And he no longer owns the car so you wouldn't be buying it from him. It's probably a completely different car. Plus the ad says 1 owner. He bought the car from someone and sold it to someone so that's three owners right there.

Why would it bother you to buy from a race car driver?

Okay..update

It's not Graham's CGT. If you're interested call Cameron Zerpoli and mention Graham.

XJ220 notorious quality issues.

Suggestion: Buy new McLaren

Lol, I found out its not his, his is in fl for sale.
And someone that goes through cars like underwear and the cost is no option might also be the kind of person who will beat on. Car for fun and not care, especially if he changes out every 2-3 months. Someone who keeps ther cars for awhile will likely beat on them less.
Everyone blanketly says the xj220 is full of issues, but it never can be validated. Especially with s few made and such a tiny number here. And with so many super low miles. You can't ever get specifics or details on what breaks, why, and when. I can give great details into a diablo, but nobody can on an xj220, and I supose its cause so few actually know.
As far as the new mclaren, from what I garner, and even grahm and all the mags say. I beautiful, fast, and numb and boring as all he'll. Its like a gtr or veyron, the cmputers do EVERYTHING for you. Id buy a manual geo metro before ild buy a mp4 12 c or whatever its called. Sad too, mclaren had done so well with the f1 and this one looks so damn good too

Well..first of all Graham is a professional driver that knows how to handle a car that requires that much attention and has more skilz than all of the members on this forum combined.

Secondly, he's purchasing these cars because his connections allow him to and he's turning around and selling them for a profit.....it's not because he's beating on them.

And if he says to stay away from the xj220, I'd listen to him. The guy grew up with a Father that has built, raced and collected many cars, as well as engineers, mechanics and car enthusiasts.

It's a 90s Jaguar, of course it has issues But yeah I think the more intimidating thing is just that so few people know these cars or know how to fix them when things go wrong. But if you're willing to take that risk, it's a gorgeous car and incredibly unique
