Amazing car, I've loved them for a long time. I bet maintenance is $$$$ though, although fortunately the only shop is in Muncie.

I'm surprised that one is 300k! I guess the low mileage helps. You could find one with more miles for much less

Might not be a bad investment either, I don't see how the price could go anywhere but up from where it is

I assume 300k wuld be the high end with those miles. What's the average market price on one?

Never did hear how it went unless I missed it? Anyway, here's a nice video that just came up. Hero cars : XJ220 (2012 quick review from autocar.co.uk) - Linkage

That is a great review! Its amazing how ahead of the time it was and home many firsts the car had, and its stil fast as hell today.
Pics don't do the car justice in person. Its so much more low and sleek in person. It is definitely a long car, but 1 inch narrower than the diablo, so I don't get the complaints about width, that seems to be a british only thing anyways.

I think the one is saw is over priced, I got him down to 250k, but that's still high, especially with an XJ220S being sold this year for 230k (including all fees) and they only made 6 of those, on is tom walkinshawss car. From what I can garner one should go for 175-200 tops, and less for cars over 6k or s miles. Greg barrets sold at auctions for 137 back in 09 I think, they've come up some since, but not much. I'm looking very closely into two right now.

Fun fact, if you look closely at the body panels you will notice the front bumper, front fenors, side skirts, rear fendors, and rear bumper, as well as the thin section above the window is one peice. One!!!! So any fendor bender will be an utter bitch to fix, as will a clear bra or wrap to install without seams! I remember on viper the ho was one peice and so hard to make exact half were scraped, and thus cost like 13k. I can't even imagine what an xj220 body panel like that costs!! If they even have any left lieing around

Yeah you could definitely find one for cheaper than 300k. Viper RT/10 and GTS hood costs $15k I think.

auction ressults in the last few year show mostly under 200k. 165-195 range. With these cars and so few of them there can be a larger swing depending on color and miles.
