do any of you think if they took a GTR or Vette out they would get even within 20 seconds of what they claim??? BTW, the answer is no, few mags have tried, funny eh?

The blue one Eric is talking about was at Ooley and Blackburn at the time of that ad. They may know the real deal on it and it's current whereabouts.

I asked them a few weeks ago if the cosign and sell cars, but they said they didnt, so they must have owned the car...which means they know where it went........

I do admit that I like how the Diablo looks from behind without the bumper.

Ive thought about taking it off, but what would my insurance do it someone rear ends me?? With a car of that expense I bet they would look for anyway to get out of paying

Ok, this is out of the August 2006 issue. It's actually a 1996 blue roadster. The ad says it has 902 HP and 885 TQ and has over $500K invested in it. They claim 236 mph and 0-60 in 2.8. The VIN is ZA9RU37P5TLA12558. It says to contact Richard Deer at 317-824-1100. Do you know him or recognize the phone number since it's local? The next time I'm down that way I'll swing by your sausage factory and throw the magazine in your mailbox.

wow, sounds like someone is full of it
236??? I dont even think the gearing wil allow it to go that high, if the tires even would. And with that much hp and tourque on a roadster probulary means his frame is all twisted up by now
no clue who he is though, maybe hes still got it
and its not a sausage factory
in the next 2 days I got 4 girls coming by to check it out
you dont have to leave it in the mailbox, you could stop bye and say hi buttmunch

I have an old duPont Registry that has a TT 97 Diablo in it with around 900 HP. I think they wanted about 400K for it a few years ago.

do you know if it was the VTT or VTTT?? that one was I believe TTd fromthe factory...I believe. 400k it nuts though
to TT the Gallardo is 50k, Muric is 80k from Heffner. To SC the Diablo I would pray will be ALOT less since it is a Diablo and older and less desirable and that fact that SCing is much less work all around form the install to the cooling to the tuning and extra work to make it safe.
To SC the NSX it was 10k, so I pray the Diablo is under 20k, I cant see it being over 25k.

another funny thing, Allan on Lambo Power said a Lambo tech said the frames twist at 700 hp. While it may be true, or complete BS because Lamborghini does not like at all when people mod their cars at all I guess we would know by now. 900hp would have killed the frame and this Diablo has 558 AWD hp, thats 700 at the crank and he says he can goto 800, so if its true we shall know soon. I doubt it true thoguh seeing the LP640 haswell 640 Break hp and the new SV or SE Murci thats about to come has either 720 or 740 hp. Also in Europe they use Break HP which reads a lil bit higher than US HP, so the LP640 has 640 hp their but 632 here. So the SC Diablo would deffently already be over the 700 break hp

I love the second video. The Lambo on street tires carefully drives around the water and waits like a gentleman for the Viper to get done with all his shenanigans. Burnout, test launches, revving.

Then the Viper crashes while having his butt handed to him by the 6.0. Classic.

you know why the viper lost control???

when he went through the water he burned off the water on the rear tires, but obviously not the fronts. When he launched his spinning rear went nuts when it hit the wet patch the fronts left

if you are on street tires and you want water you BACK into the water pit, NEVER go through it

he hit the wall and jacked up his bumper, 1/4 panel, and tail lights

good thing the 6.0 was faster off the line, he could ahve taken the Lambo out!!
