Did you guys see the Papa John's Camaro saga?

He sold his 70 Z-28 for $1200 to start a Pizza business. Missed the car so he recently put out a call to locate it with a $25,000 reward. No bites, so he raised the reward to $250,000.
A guy called him and said he had owned it, but sold to a guy in Ky. They found it, and the tipster collected the $25,000 and the lucky owner sold it back for the $250,000.

Papa John's was so happy they offered a free pizza day to everyone driving a Camaro.

i actually saw something about this on the news not to long ago....

Back on topic Dan... you want a nice Volvo wagon? I bet you can put at least 15-- 5 gallon gas jugs in it and it already has tinted windows... Neighbors would love to see a nice volvo parked in your driveway instead of the van....

now you tell me!!!

could it be done on say a CGT that hasnt been registered yet??

I think its too late though

Leasing company would put a stop to it because title needs to go back to them and with dealer plates that cant happen because you dont go to the BMV.....

a bit off topic, but say I could find a Zonda for sale.
Think he could work something out were I could run on dealer plates and I could make it worth his while??

that seems to be the most popular way to get around the BS rule, and not pay sales tax

Maybe.... I have done that on more than a few cars
