For as much as they cost, you should get a driver/owner orientation course similar to what they do with the ZR1.

hows the meeting with Mr. F40 coming along??
I've found his card but haven't sent an email yet. If you really want me to do it, I'll give it a try.

Is this the same guy Vettecop knew? We'll probably never know since he never comes here any more But according to him the guy is nice. Come on Palmer, if I owned an F40 and you talked to me I'd ignore you too
Yes, that's the guy I know. He's always been nice to me. Did he ever join up here, Andrew?

Saw 4 Corvettes in a caravan heading north on 69 yesterday morning. Then saw a yellow C6 Corvette boat on the square.

First of all, I am by no means a motorcycle fan. Never will I own one and most likely never ride on one. With that said, you'll understand my vagueness on my descriptions.

1. Big, black road bike with a HUGE rear tire. Looked like it said "Boulevard" on the tank.

2. Black, sport/touring type. I think it was a Suzuki and had two big diamond shaped exhaust tips coming out from under the seat.

They were stopped at a light and riding together.

Hard to tell, at least on my computer screen, but that looks like Roger Penske. I've heard he has some very pricey cars in his collection.

arent you still scared of the neighbors calling it in??
Doing donuts in a backyard of a very nice residental neighborhood is one thing - a quick burst down a lonely stretch of road is another. I'm sure someone on here knows of a local place where a little speed can be attained without being seen by the public. As for ORP, the only way I would do it would be if it was rented out to a private group. Last fall, the company that did the engine work on my vette had a private track day there and I thought about getting the Crown Vic and running it once.

Woo hoo. The problem is solved.

After spending nearly 45 minutes on the phone with ATT, trying to convince them that this is their error and them trying to convince me that I need to contact Comcast, I finally got them to send out some guy to look at it. After he arrived 1:30:00 late, he unplugged something in another bedroom on another TV (I didn't even realize the original installer was in there ) he said that would do it - it didn't. He got on the phone to someone, then told me he needed to check some box that's in my bedroom closet. He opened it up and said there's the problem. I guess the original installer put in some sort of splitter or something. The guy today took it off and reconnected the cables and EVERYTHING WORKS!!!!

I tried to give the guy all the Uverse stuff and he said he wasn't authorized to take it and that some boxes had to be sent to me for me to pack it in and ship it back to them. I should get the boxes in 4-6 WEEKS!!!!!

So now we can let this thread die or you all can keep it open and poke fun at me. Either way, I got my TV back.

Big thanks to Mark for coming to my house and checking everything.

Casey - you disappoint me - couldn't even find out what city I lived in.
