If using a siphon, you will need to develop a head on the line for suction. Since its coolant, I know I don't need to tell you to NOT use your mouth.

1) get a long enough piece of tubing that will go to the bottom of the tank and reach the bucket/tub you will drain into.
2) Fill the tubing up with fluid. Hold your finger tightly on the end of the tubing you will put into the bucket.
3) Insert other end of tubing into the tank.
4) The bucket must be lower than the tank. This will create a suction/draw.
5) Put other end of tubing (the one with your finger on it) into the bucket.
6) Release your finger and watch the fluid flow.

You made need to watch the top of the tube and move it around like a vacuum cleaner hose to the low point in the tank. Once you get air into the line, you will lose the suction and made need to resort to a turkey baster for the final bit, or remove the tank and dump whatever is left. Then install your new tank.

Don't get coolant on your paint!!! Clean immediately if you do!!!

When you refill, you may want to consider adding Water Wetter. It can help run a few degrees cooler.

hope that helps.

Doug's font +1

Doug's advice on doing B&W first. Get it right the B&W, then create a color version as step two. We are having some trouble with translating the Indy Z Car Club logo to embrodiary right now and we're backtracking. We didn't have Doug's advice when it was created the first time.

I like the logo with the Yellow sweepy car with the Ironing Board on back to make Dan happy.

You guys should see the work Doug has done for the Z club. He does great work.

ThunderZ is an artist from our club. He drives the 280Z with the Chevy V8 under the hood. He does some great drawings of cars and would be another strong talent to tap into for projects.

[quote="SMS"]You guys are destroying an otherwise great thread.[quote]

Webby...we need a special thread titled "Dan & Palmer's Hijack Thread".
Purpose will be for when they feel that special need to head off on a tangent or some bizarre topic , they head there to get it out of the their system. Those two are nuts, but they do crack me up.

Now back to our regularly scheduled chat...

Pretty car! Look forward to seeing that color in full sun. I'm expecting the need for some serious sunglasses.

On one of the Z Car forums, a guy posted pics from the Palm Beach SuperCar Show. This could be any cruise with this group. LOL!

Multiple GT40s, CGTs, Bugattis, etc...

Andrew...had a thought about Events...Would it be better for them to be only accessible to "members"?

Hate to think of some LEO looking on here to get an idea of where to set-up a weekend speed trap. Obviously not implying that anyone in this group would remotely consider exceeding the speed limit or doing any other driving outside of the law. Just a thought to throw out there for consideration.
