UPloading videos has a progress bar so you don't have to wait blindly for it to finish uploading. I tested with some pretty big videos so it should work fine.

Searching (view someone's profile and click "Find all posts" or "Find all topics") seems to work. You can't actually search for keywords or anything like that yet though
