No. MAG is in Dublin, just off of I-270. Lamborghini Ohio is in Marysville, about 15 miles further west on Hwy 33.

I heard the first rumors about this 3 weeks ago. The two service techs at LO, Parker and Eric, will be moving to MAG. Steve Evans, the chief sales guy, may or may not move to MAG. They apparently want him to cover 7 other car lines in addition to Lamborghini.

Not sure if my car will move to MAG or not. Being left behind in the empty LO building certainly won't slow down the rate at which it's currently being fixed. LO apparently has phones that only work on incoming calls; they are incapable (or don't know how) to make outgoing calls. Maybe the people at MAG know how to dial out and I can find out what's going on with my car.

No idea. I do have the attention of the area manager in Boston and we are talking on a daily basis. He is supposed to have a call with the factory tomorrow morning to decide what parts to replace this time or if they are going to send over a complete gearbox and swap it out. Lambo Ohio is going to pull off the rear bumper tomorrow and get ready to pull the transmission (again).

So I should know something early next week.

Some other interesting tidbits:

Of the 14 months that have elapsed since the car went off warranty it has been sitting under Lamborghini Ohio's roof for 7.

I have received two "proof-of-insurance" cards from my insurance company (the ones you get every six months) and I've not been able to put either one in the car yet. I should have canceled the insurance policy when I took the car in; I could have saved one entire 6-month premium.

Lamborghini Ohio (an authorized dealer) has been servicing my car with an unapproved transmission fluid (Mopar 75W90 rather than the Agip fluid called out in the service schedule).

My car is the ONLY 6-speed Gallardo in the WORLD that has suffered a synchro failure. My gearbox is the FIRST to be cracked open in the US by an authorized dealer.

Count me out. Sorry. I got double booked with an event with the BMW club on Saturday. Plus, I've got no car.

Just to clarify, you can buy most anything Griot's sells at the open house. They don't offer a discount anymore, but you do save on shipping. You might find a deal on some scratch and dent items (tool chests, cabinets, etc.) but most of this stuff is cleared out during the scratch-n-dent sale they have earlier in the year.

It's strange how things work out. With all the money I've spent on cars, this is the one I can't live without. Cost nothing to buy, costs nothing to maintain, costs nothing to insure, don't care if it's stolen, don't have to lock it, don't have to worry about where it's parked, don't care if it gets crunched, don't care if it gets dirty/wet/snowy/caught in hail storm, can carry anything, and if the economy really goes to shit I can sell my house and live in it. Plus now I'm not even ashamed to be seen driving it.

I asked Autoblog not to share his name or location.. I guess they wanted to make it more mysterious. as for the comments on Autoblog.... they are the reason I require applications on here
That's cool, I can respect his privacy. I had a tour of his collection in October '07 with the Troy Michigan Lambo group.

So when did Ken Lingenfelter become a "shadowy figure"?
