NOS is really a drag racing application. I was at Automotive Specilaties yesterday while they we dynoing a drag car. 477 CI aftermarket motor in a Firebird, tubed out full drag slicks roll cage etc. 8.5 second car.
It made 485 rear wheel HP off the NOS and 850 when sprayed. They emptied a NOS bottle in 4 shots on the Dyno.(they had 8 bottles with them) and a big tank to refill them in their car hauler.

took a guy for a ride arround Putnam on the Z06,, it was the end of 3 days in a row on the track in a school and lapping day in the race car,,, so I was pretty gooved in and moving out pretty well.... about half way arround he says" you dont have to go this fast for me" I said I go this fast all the time.... 
the funny part was the next day when my wife got in the the car and said what is with the door handle,,, I looked over and there were fingrnail marks dug into the door handle,,,, the guy must have had a death grip on the thing

last night saw a huge car hauler across from TD house Bugati was next to it...
thing looked like it could haul at least 4 cars.. probably taking sstuff to carmel for the show...

Definately late apex.... you need to look at the track not the car in front of you, and take the right line and not do what they do...

youd be surprised what kind of cars there are in Japan in prestine condition. Too bad I'm not too educated in hot rods and muscle cars but I used to see some muscle cars and hot rods in top notch condition.
what amazed me the most was how many european cars there are. if you like cars, Japan's definitly a place to live if you have the financial resources since virutally ANY car can be imported legally.

Come to think of it I knew of a guy who was buying muscle cars and shipping them to Japan and making money doing it... I am pretty sure he had orders in hand and would look for specific cars for customers....

I had an Iranian room mate at IU in Bloomington in the 70's and he said the Shaw had a AC Cobra he would drive arround at night when nobody was arround..
