dan, I get the impression Young Kim (Gator MotorSports) has a really great exotics mechanic if you don't want to take it out of town.

as much as I like exclusivity I tend to agree. An exotic off warranty can be crazy $$$ to maintain. I wish I didn't have to choose, I'd take a new vette and a diablo, maybe an even dozen of choices.

I love the dark wheels. I saw a photo of one in blue, I think I might deviate from white this time. Thanks for posting!!!

I'm a fan of the LP610-4, good looks and it will be reasonably loud. I have a feeling it will make the LP560-4 feel like a dinosaur. I'm not a fan of the current e-gear but it sure is fun feeling it slam through the gears at full throttle. This one is supposed to have a dual clutch, hopefully some of the fun will remain.

I'm pretty sure you can get a new vette with the z51 and sport exhaust for under $60k, I think that's pretty hard to beat. Putting aside the looks and etc that would be my drivers choice over anything in the price range.

I try to drive mine all winter. I do have a battery tender but I've never had great confidence that it works. I took the r8 out the other day when it was really cold, I couldn't decide if I have a suspension problem in the rear or it was moaning and groaning from the temperature.
