Lexus now says they ARE GOING TO RELEASE the LF-A. Estimated price ~$200k, 50 units produced, 550hp V-10.

Apparently they weren't happy with the 199 mph top speed, so the delay in development was due to tweaking of the aero which now yeilds a 216 mph top speed which is good enough for a Toyota.

Betch ya it starts every time, the syncros won't grind and the only time it goes to the dealer would be an oil change. Oh, kind of like my NSX.

Yep. 10 years at Comair. Last 6 as a Captain. Just got displaced back to First Officer this month. Quitting after track season this year and finding a real job that doesn't go to crap every 5 years. I am a generation too late to be an airline pilot. I would not wish this industry on anyone.

Thanks guys...

4Ring, I know that the OEM 02, plus paint, install and NSX-R diffuser (now reduced from $700 to $250 on Prime) will run close to a grand. But in my opinion completes the car so much nicer. The one thing I didn't like about my 2000 was that with the whole center section looking black it made it look like a big whole in the middle.

Plus, I like the mesh so much better than the slats of the early valence.

Just my $.02

2002 rear valance and recent with the NSX-R diffuser (CF).
I went with the OEM 02 rear and exact replica of the NSX-R diffuser as I think in my opinion the West Wing spats and the Kite NSX-R "like" diffuser don't look nearly as good as the real thing. They look like a body kit add on.
