For the record, Dustin was very helpful and resourceful. There was another guy that put up with my stupid mistake of brining the wrong size tire as well.

I was charged $25/wheel WITHOUT the N2. Was originally quoted $18/wheel without N2. They charged me $5/wheel extra for having TPMS.

And I dunno...I have mixed feelings about this shop. Hate to rate it low just because of one person when the others were nice to me.

The guy was so out of line. The place sucks if they don't hold CARL WEST accountable for his actions. They can't treat costumers the way they treated you.

Like Rick, I only took my wheels and tires in to be mounted, no car.

Very sorry for the way you were treated. That's not right.

I wonder if this guy realizes this site is out here and making recommendations on were to go, and more importantly...were NOT to go.

I don't think he knew that Midwestscc is an organized car syndicate. Do you think it's a good idea to send the higher ops of tire barn a link to our website? After this incident, I don't see any agency who can help us in case we get this kind of treatment. The Better Business Bureau won't give a flying F. You can't call the cops on this. The manager won't even get hurt if we stop going to tire barn because he's on salary.

If senior management doesn't approve of his behavior and they are threatehed with loss of revenue, you might be surprised what could happen.

exactly
I dont care what anyone says about my work
I know when I do a good job and when I do a bad one
some people praise me to high Heaven, others tell me Ive done the worst theyve ever seen
I do bad jobs and people are happy with it, I do great jobs and take extra time to do good and some people will just hate it no matter what.
as long as they pay me Im happy

The Lotus will have a meeting tonight. I'll tell them about the incident at tire barn. Tire barn needs to realize how F'd up their manager is. Yuki, did you call your friend?

He's working on it. He said he's really sorry for what happened and that's not right. I think they did a good job actually. They put the tires with inner camber wear so that it goes on the outside this season like I asked. It was just that manager and his attitude.

Tell everyone at the Lotus meet I said hi and ask when the photoshoot is

you know what would be funny
If between here, Lotus groups, Ferrari, lambo, Porsche, NSX, and like 10 others if we could get like 100 or 200 or whatever people to sign a petition saying that due to this continance to damage our property and tell us tuff shit and to go f*ck ourselves that we will no longer do business with them. They will lose sales on not only high priced performance tires and service but our daily drivers and family cars aswell and we will at every chance go outta our way to let others know of our dealing with them.

Maybe then the manager will get a call up from the head office about his d!ckhead attitude in regaurds to handling problems that they have caused

Let's do it! We can attach the letter to ever forum and ask them to mail the signed paper to Yuki or me. Who's in?

I got a nail in my tire....again, 5th one since last April.

Anywho, I took it to Discount Tire off 146th and got it done in like 45mins. Did a good job of repairing the tire but they lost my metal valve cap and used an impact gun on my colored lug nuts I just got from Steve...

I just give up with this whole tire thing. I seriouslly do not want to deal with anyone again. I'd just buy my own equipment since I used to work at a tire shop in Tokyo....ugh.
