I recently read an old road test where Derek Daly went on and on about what a surprisingly good track car it was. Very underrated there as all the buzz was about style back in the day.
Watching the assembly scenes show how hand built the were, and how the door from one likely won't fit another! And look at the birdcage frame shots, can you imagine a body shop and insurance company trying to figure out how to fix one of those?
My 308 might run with one right now, but there is no other car that defines "exotic car" to me better than a lightweight Dallara suspension LP400s with Bravo wheels. I have the exact one picked out, it's chassis #1121068, one of 16 built in the bankrupt year 1978. Minor detail, Fred ain't selling it. Someday, someday.

Hey Dan, THE actual Cannonball Run car is for sale right now. Why don't you add that one to your garage?
Look up the 'tube video of it in action. That would make a great COTM.
