Im trying to sell my NSX through Roy Cats, whatever the final sale price is they get $2500 whether I sell for 20k or 120k.
My lowest offer I would take would be 40k, hoping to get 42-45k. They got an offer for 40k, which means 37500 for me after Roys cut. Im not happy about it selling so low and for 2500 under my ultimate min, BUT its been for sale for over 3 months now. Should I just take it?
I also got the Zanardi wheels for sale too, Ill let em go for $3500 as I have about $3600 in them and they are about $5500 new.
Now when the wheels sell they will make up the difference, BUT at the same time all Im getting out of them is what I have in them anyways, so a wash basicly.

I dont need the money as I wont be buying anything until both sell, and I find something to buy. So until then Im going to have to wait anyways whether I got and extra 37500 in the bank or not, why not hold out for my min 40k or maybe some more??

Idk, opinions?

Best time to sell is when you have a buyer....How much do they go down in the winter?

good point
I dont know how much they drop in the winter as I havent watched the market in like 6 years, but no doubt they do. And summer is about half over.....

I may have a compromise in the works with Cats too that would involve a LP640 or CGT

I think you should take it, I mean it's not a car that most average people can just go out and buy for fun... So if you get a bite, then take it. But then again I'm still young and impatient, so with my cars I've usually gone with whoever gives the first offer.

I think I would have to agree. I don't know much about the NSX market, but the exotic market (Ferraris in particular) is pretty down right now. If you wait for another offer, you might end up having to take less in the long run. My $0.02.

SOLD!!!

well it wont be offical until I sign everything and send it back, and well get the money in my account and the car shipped off.

Heres the deal I got
$38k and:

"I’ll shave our fee on the Lp640 deal, when we find one for you, from the $2500 down to $1500.00. Does that narrow the gap enough to consider the deal done? And, I’ll even say that the Lp640 deal will be shipped, so we’ll absorb shipping when we find you a Lp."

so LP640 or CGT soon hopefully

I want to keep it, but Im sick of always having to fix it and all the $$$$$ I spend every year to. Its ALWAYS something wrong with it, and when all seems to be going well you know you are but mear days away from something else breaking. Hell you dont even have to drive it and shit will break, like the rear camera or heat in the car, so I <3 it, but fuck that POS
and its "slow"

well congrats on the sale. Roy seems like a good salesperson from this. And I know Dave S. was always happy with him. Seems like everyone either loves him or hates him

know what else Im thinking about, a Rolls Royce Phantom!! lol
....Plamers not allowed to park next to it lol

but seriously how pimp would that be? 25 years old, a Lambo, a Rolls, my own biz, my own home. Thats freakin sweat! All I would need then is a playmate or stripper on my arm and I would be set
I would have to get some better clothes though

Slightly OT, but can I ask why you chose Roy Cats over other shops?

if you have the money, which you do, then you'll figure it out haha
or do what skyline people do, have someone take the motor out ship it over and then ship the chassis over seperately

get a Keonigsegg ccx-r!

thats the main plan
problem may be with all number matching, if thats the case I could just ship the chassis over and put a chevy engine in it and ship the engine over and stick it in my van or soemthing, get both registered, then turn around and swap em again
one thing in life Ive learned, theres ALWAYS a way around the rules

theres a few other senerios too, like registering it through and Indian reservation

and no on the Egg, I want to live, and be able to turn

and I dont have the money yet, unless I sold my Diablo too, house, and emptied my savings then bought a S from Brittian, but then I wouldnt have any money to get it here or around the rules. In a few years I should be good

After that the only upgrade would be a McLaren F1........

that's gonna take some serious fab work haha, another way I know of is if you're in the military over sea's and you come home you're allowed to bring your vehicle with you and you're able to register through the military. I'm not so sure a car with that price tag would be easy to get a friend to help you out, but it's possible!

how much are they anyways?

then once you upgrade to an f1 that Zonda could have a hefty price tag over here in the states if it's already been registered

if youre from another country your can bring ANY vechile in you want for 1 year, if its not gone after one year it will be seized. Here the beauty, 11 months later send it back to your countries port, turn around and bring it right back and you get another year
I know some foreigners if need be
I want a Zonda S 7.3
cause of the falling British pound your can get em roughly 400-450k range, but for one in Europe you're looking 550k-600k cause of the Euro

with Obama fucking things up so bad and ruining the dollar for generations to come, I doubt in a few years they will still be that cheap
