Palmer...what SMS said. Nissan Skylines are not street legal in the US. To avoid having to do all the safety upgrades and associated expense, some people import the cars and engines seperate, then register as a 'kit car". Helps get around the laws. Still can be tough if you go up against a hardcase. Can save you some $40k in having to upgrade. Heck, if they register an Ariel Atom, why not a Skyline?
Yeah,
Only problem with the kit registration would be to find a low hour 355CH engine/drivetrain.
Im sure there is a way to get around all that stuff though.
Also, i'll go ahead and make a top ten.
1. 355 Challenge
2. Ariel Atom
3. Gallardo Superleggera
4. Diablo 6.0 VT
5. 1995 Ferrari F50
6. 2005 JDM Honda NSX-R
7. Mercedes CLK Black Edition
8. Bugatti Veyron
9. Honda S2000 CR
and
10. BMW E92 M3
