So I was daydreaming and with the Euro tanking and only heading south...FINALLY as I predicted it will by years end be in paridy with the dollar and probualy drop even more from there as socialist countries start running out of money and the hopefully the typhoon coming in Nov. that will put an end to our endless spending and socialist path. Thats said I can very realisticly afford a Zonda in about two years.... if I can find on of the 17 or so Zonda S 7.3 coupes.
Now here my dellema, should I sell the Diablo and get a LP640 then sell the CGT and get a Zonda, so Ill have 2 toys, OR pass on the Zonda, keep the CGT, add a LP640, add a F430, and either keep the Diablo OR replace it with a Phantom.

On one hand all the varity of toys would be cool as hell and likely be the end of my toys as manuals are almost dead, BUT I dont drive what I got now with work taking up all my time and now hockey. Ive put about 800 miles on the CGT this year after over 2k in 2 months last year and about 100 on the Diablo. OR just go withmy dream of a Zonda and have the "reliable" badass LP640 as the backup/beater cause the Zonda would deffently be too special to drive as much as Ild like and I wouldnt be driving alot anyways.

So its:
Zonda + LP640 vs CGT, LP640, F430, and Diablo/Phantom

I could even sell the house to make things easier and get a condo, all just pipe dreams now, but I need some kind of goal to keep that fire lit under my ass to get there

You clearly want the Zonda more than any of those. I think you already know what you are going to do

Are ya gonna be happy with a bunch of cars sitting around just waiting for friends from, say south west Indiana to come up to drive those?

Have you investigated a change to your current business model? Add workers and equipment, increase customer base, and step back to more of a supervisory role? As the business settles in, that could potentially free up some time to play with your toys. Yes, there will be different headaches to deal with, but if you take home the same $ or more while freeing up some 'you' time, then the cost/benefit could work. You just need to conduct analysis to decide where the financial breakeven point would be.

As for which way you go with the cars, you always talk about the Zonda. I guess it comes down to whether you have an emotional connection to what you currently have. The Diablo is a pretty darn cool car. Iconic in my book. Would you kick yourself later in life if you let it go? Regrets about getting rid of the NSX? But like you said, you can't drive them all at the same time, so in theory there, you only 'need' one car...but my guess is you 'want' more.

Here's a goal...
Keep working your ass off and save up enough cash in the bank to supliment your income with the income from it and ease back on the work schedule and enjoy the cars. Start buying cars at a good price and trade up until you get what you want.

I say Zonda + F430. The 430 is a very reliable car without the belt changes as needed in previous F cars. Pick up a nice used 430 as your main toy and drive the snot out of it. You can get in a F430 cheap (as compared to your others on the list). Save your $$$ for your dream.... THE ZONDA!!!!! So recap: Dump the Diablo now, pick up a 430. Keep the CGT until you can trade it or sell it for the Zonda.

I think about this often as an owner of over 40 cars. Sometimes I think about what if I sold them all and bought one very expensive car. I always come to the conclusion that I will miss some of them, not all of them in particular but there is a time and place for certain cars and I would feel out of place showing up with the wrong car. I don't think I could be that guy who is known for showing up in a Zonda everywhere, I like to have people guessing what I will drive this time.

Low 40's for 2006-2007. There was a 2006 for 35 but that's rare.
