I've been getting my truck fixed at the same place for about 8 years now and have been more than happy. A auto tech/mechanic you can trust is hard to find.

My ram 1500 has been having a problem with not going into overdrive and with harsh downshifts at times. They recomend a rebuild...it costs about what the truck is worth. I hardly use od just putting around neighborhoods, so I could live with it til it dies, but would like a place to get a second opinion before making any decisions.

Any recomendations in the indy and surrounding areas?

Hash Imports in Fishers. Next to Reynolds Farm Equipment. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Place looks old, but they work on everything, including con cours cars. Mr Hash has never met a problem with a car he couldn't solve. He takes thinks like that personally. Mike Hash, his nephew, generally runs the front. All stand-up guys.

That's was the only place I could think of too lol Are they familar with domestics? I drive by it all the time for my mowers at reynolds and they always have euro cars out there. Libby took her volvo their and they fixed what the dealer couldn't....though when I asked about bringing my lambo and cgt there one of his sons didn't see like he even knew what a cgt was, thinking it was a normal carrera. Said they have wored on diablos befre though

Thanks mark!
Went to them and they diagnosed the problem for free and recomended Kents in Noblesville as they "could fix my problem and save me alotta money"

Went there and for $396 got a new 3-4 selinoid and transmisson bands adjusted. Instead of a 2k+ tranny rebuild

In the future ill definitely keep them in mind with future repairs, so far Brian has always treated me very well and I'm loyal to good people. Its nice to know there are other shops with ethics out there too.

They fixed a problem libby had with her volvo last year that the volvo dealer couldn't for almost 2 year. Knowledge and ethics, WIN!!
