Face it you may have to buy a Corvette to get a manual.

a Vette or Viper is looking more and more as a possibilty for a newer car. id buy one before any new ferrari, lambo, or porsche.

But till then Im still huntnig down a LP640, XJ220, another CGT, a GT3 RS, and maybe someday a F40 IF prices ever come back down. So I got a few older cars to gobble up and to hold me over for some time

even then, I would still have to consider a Zonda (in 2027) or Koenigsegg either by saving up, or selling a few cars for one of the two...or both

Your flirtation with an old school Lambo was short lived!

I still want one lol
I just have to drive one first. It was a toss up between a Countach and 512TR for a "cheap" 100k or less car. Not sure I want the maintance and reliability issues of either though

I don't understand this trend at all.
Are there really more people who prefer to shift 0.01 seconds faster than to shift manually?

Yes. That and its easier. Sad but true.

Also, I would like to add...

My generation is COMPLETELY oblivious to the "weird looking 3rd pedal in my car." It's as if the knowledge of what a manual transmission is, not just how to operate one, is completely dying.

The exotic car these days is simply designed to show up at the club, not the race track

With that argument, go ahead and add fuel injection.
