Driving an Audi on the Autobahn!

It's an A3, 5-door (hatchback), turbo diesel. I had reserved a VW Scirocco, but they didn't have any so this was the next best thing. (Actually they tried to rent me a GM Acadia and I was like.... No.) I had looked up Porsche rentals but you needed an AMEX Gold or something to be allowed.

I got up to 180 km/h (about 112 mph). Not the fastest I've ever driven, but still, a German car on the Autobahn, hard to beat that!

Next time we are together and I have the Z, you will have to drive it to experience the turbo and "lag" I have going. Hopefully it will make you addicted to boost after a test drive.

I do like it better now that I'm used to it. I like "boost" better, "lag" is glass-half-empty thinking

Driving the Alps was even more fun. Of course I wasn't the only one to figure that out... saw a Nissan GTR, Supra, Gen I Viper RT/10, Prowler, and Renault Alpine! All on a nice ~20 minute drive. Not to mention countless bikes, Subarus, Porsches (a couple 356s, and tons of 911s)

I would have pulled over for a couple hours and just watched cars for a couple hours if I had time.

Here's a 360 I spotted in Thun

All in Switzerland. The MG and Jaguar were near Lungern and the rest were along the route in the map (from Thun to Interlaken)
