Besides the visual changes are:
1 - unread / read topics ACTUALLY WORKS!
2 - BB Code works correctly (the links won't mess up any more)
3 - better security, fewer bugs
4 - a "members only" forum in addition to "subscribed only"
Coming soon:
1 - attachments that work
2 - a classifieds section (for members only to post, but guests can browse)
3 - the "garage" - in addition to just the list of members, there'll be a feature where you can upload a picture of your car, or you, or both
4 - when you add an event, you can choose who can see it (members only, subscribed only, or everybody)
Things that don't work right now
1 - private messages
2 - searching
3 - when you post a reply it won't redirect you so don't wait for it
4 - smileys don't work yet
5 - new members can't register
It's not 100% ready yet, but I couldn't wait to upgrade.
