Another thing to add is that if it's an out of state purchase you'll need a police officer to run a VIN check and fill out a form that you would take with you to BMV. And no, I can't do that for you. The officer has to personally see the vehicle and compare VINs.

DEFFENTLY DO THIS!!!
if for any reason it turns up stolen, they will take you car away and leave you SOL
remember the Roy Cats ordeal

not quite yet so don't get too excited. But I was just wondering, if you buy a used car from somebody, what exactly do you have to do? I assume there are forms to fill out, he has to give you the title, etc. My parents have always gone through dealerships never through individuals but I figure someone here would be able to tell me

sign the title over, and go to the BMV with the guy to make sure its clear

and DONT ever buy from Roy Cats, Im sure you've figured that out by now.....it just may be stolen

tell them that to develop a car affects the environment that gas is such a marginal factor; especially when considering the disposition of the battery itself. also most people don't drive their exotics.

and if trend is the sole reason to buy cars, even a hybrid, construction and disposition of a car takes far more energy when you buy a new hybrid every new Prius is out; not to mention a lot of exotics are hand made and not by factories where they require engery source of some sort to power those robots.

I posted something like that on the Lambo board before
the engery to develope and produce the Prisu FAAAAAAAAAR excedes that of the most gas gussler cars could ever polute. Not t mention the batteries are HORRIDLY dangerous and in 10 year will need to be changed and put somewhere....and when that happens the money you saved on gas will be lost again, and all the trees you "saved" will now have toxic batteries to deal with

you want to save the enviroment, buy and Echo, 45mpg or so, only a few less than the Prius at its prime and the Echo is FAR FAR FAR less harsh on the enviroment

again, guess the timeless desing makes em think its new
or more likely they are such idiots and only know of the Murci from MTV Cribs and rap videos

well welcome to the board!!

I get the same thing with both cars.
they always ask if its new or what year it is and they cant believe they are both 01s
guess a good design is indeed timeless
