Congrats on the new car! Pretty.

My dad had a 1959 MGA 1600 Coupe. Painted British Racing Green. He got rid of it ~1964. Blame my sister and me for being little kids.

TrixZee's brother got rid of a MGB within the last 3 years. It had been buried under a pile of grarage junk for years. I heard the guy that took it has already restored it and is cruising around Louisville when the weathers nice.

my neighbor yeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago had an old MGB that he had been trying to fix up for years.
He eventually sold it, I was like 8

Yep. Have some things to do before it can run with this bunch, but the parts list we have should help to that goal.

After the hour plus haul back home from Greenwood, I can say I've had about all I need of the RDX.

I would rather have the TL again. The last one I took out, I really enjoyed. It's too bad Kristina thinks they are too big.

TL too big???
maybe she needs to drive my truck for a few mins
or some 1970s boat of a car

I'm sad to disagree but there was an incident today at tire barn. Yuki brought his car to get his tires replaced and the guys at tire barn scraped his front bumper. When Yuki complained about it the guy who checked it they said they're going to pay for it. When Yuki asked them to sign a "we-owe-you" the manager said they're not going to pay for it. When we tried to talk to CJ, the manager, to tell him that the scrape wasn't there when they did the body inspection, he told us that we were wasting his time. He was shitty about the situation and didn't handle it like a professional. What a jerk.

I give this place 0 stars. I'm glad your cars didn't get scratch because if they did, I don't think they'll pay for it.

VERY similar to Mitchs story

Ill NEVER go there after this shit

what did you guys end up doing??
calling the cops?
calling the head office??

I'm beginning to think it is a boost control selenoid or a wastegate issue. It does it randomly now. This morning I was in 3rd merging on to the highway, I held it around 4k then gunned it, it lost 4 psi then went full boost. That is the only thing I can think of at this moment. I'm going to make a couple post on a couple different impreza forums and see what they have to say.

the post whore is gonna get reeeeeeeeeeemed

I'm pretty good at keeping track of my nuts.

Actually the boost holds great until around 100mph in 5th gear, full throttle/boost it slips about 3-4 lbs. 3rd is solid though...and I didn't ramp up 4th.
So it seems like under intense load, it still can't hold.
I'm not sure what else to look at unless I have a bad seal around my bpv or something else...

But thanks for the help and the food anyway! Glad you got the bumpstop spacers on!
Had that been me and my car it would have taken a few days

it NEVER
ends!!!

its goes on and on my friend
some ricer started driving it one day
not knowing he was phucking it up
and itll continue shitting out forever
casue its casey rice mobile

and over and over again

Casey...How'd the car drive the rest of the day? Still holding boost?

For those following this thread, we pulled the intercooler and found a split vacuum line. There was plenty of extra length, so we trimmed it just below the stretched/split portion and plugged it back together.

Also another connector was not on solid. My guess whoever was under there before was a touch sloppy when removing/installing the intercooler and had wiggled the connector loose. Surprising since it had a tightened hose clamp. Figure that had to have taken some force to knock loose.

After that, we buttoned up the engine and sent Casey out for a test. We were all cracking up as he pulled back up with this big ol' grin on his face. Sure sign of Full Boost. Said it was holding solid 14psi.

So if its still holding boost, he got his ride fixed and we filled his belly with somegreat BBQ and he got to hang out with a bunch of Z folks. Not a bad day.

oh now casey hanging out with "Z" people
I see how it is!
