If your Lamborghini outline favored a Gallardo, Jalpa, Silhouette, Muira, Espada, 350GT, 400GT or Countach, that would work.

I played around with the same idea Mark. My "ink blot" ended up looking like a 911 on the inside. Not necessarily a bad thing, but didn't want to definitely point to any one car since their is such a diverse group of them in the club.

I also had another silhouette layout that looked alot like a lambo, and I knew that would not work... only in Dan's eyes.

hmmm... This may actually be similar to one of those "Psychological inkblot" tests... What's that say about Justin???

Actually it's based heavily on a C6. I thought the outer image was too obvious a mid-engine and I thought maybe using a car with a longer hood as an inner image would lend more to the balance of the cars on the site.

Thought?

I can not stand the corners Honda cut when producing the NSX. Cheap stereo, console trim, a-pillars, etc. all in a $90,000 car with 290hp. At least the seats are of excellent quality. I guess they had to make a profit somewhere, but why have an Integra's interior?
On the plus side lots of plastic does save weight.

I like the interior

my A pillars and roof are different from your guyes

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

To keep this from becoming another worthless collection of rants and raves, may I ask that contributions be catagorized by topic rather than the provider? By this I mean things like the following:

tires and wheels
dealer service
non-dealer maintenance and minor repairs
non-dealer major repairs
electronics (non-audio) - alarms, nav, etc.
car audio
cosmetics (window tinting, etc)
etc.

(Webby - maybe you can create these topics ahead of time and move some of the existing comments, above, to the appropriate topic.)

If you have something to contribute, please add it to the appropriate topic. If your information doesn't fit an existing topic, create a new one. Just make sure that it deserves a new topic. If your comment applies to more than one topic, post it in both places.

This will make the information easier to find. Rather than having to sort though a lot of junk, you can go right to the category of interest - kind of like using the "Yellow Pages".

Please limit comments to "local" providers. And finally, plese try to keep your contributions on-topic (Note to our younger members: if you want to complain about someone being gay, do it elsewhere).

now who are you refering too??

mine about Roy was more of a joke, though he is kinda local as he sells everywhere, and any dealing with him is to taken very cautiously......

I'll give 4 stars to Hubler Acura on the South Side. I drive over an hour south just to avoid going to Tom Wood on 96th.

They hand wash the exterior, detail the interior and dust the engine whenever I give it over for service. (Even something as simple as an oil change!)

Also, they call and remind me when my services are do based on my recommended maintainance. Pretty cool considering my car's 17 years old.

Also, they give me whatever's the top of the line loaner for the day while they have it and also (as requested by me) do not drive the car off of their lot, even for mechanic test driving.

Ive heard the same from Mitch, we live 10 mins from Ed Martin, but refuse to go there. Ive been a few times, and havent been happy. They always move my seat AND stearing wheel even after I ask them not to, they go out on fun runs with it, and had the top tech question if I was trying to blow up my engine when I told her of a vibration at 5500 RPM......it goes to 8000 you dumb bitch!! VTEC doesnt even kick in till 5500 and peak HP is at 7100, she shut up then

Five Stars:

Mr Hash has never made a car he couldn't fix. If the problem is mysterious, he seems to take it personally. They work on everything from old Jags, Volvos, Lambos, Ferraris, Datsuns, etc. I have lots of respect for everyone I have come in contact with there.
