Well, can it be said the the sales of the limited number of GT's was a success? If so, I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if they took the same chassis/motor and wrapped that body and an "updated/retro" interior in it and ran the whole process over again.

And to be clear, I wouldn't have one problem with that whatsoever.

Price tag of $140. My Vette's gone. I looked seriously at the GT40 when they were $125 but then the dealer told me they were getting an additional $125 under the table. BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be willing to bet that the Ford guys would be holding their hand out under the table for this one, too. Especially after the "mark-up-success" they had with the GT.

That is just awesome. The Pantera has always been one of my favorites, and that concept does it justice!

11.61 like above... I fat-finger'd the video info.

Also, I was going to load up the software to the pc as it has analysis software that goes with it, but then I turned on the PC and I realized that I had just got a new Processor and thought maybe I'd try out some games on it first and then... well, y'know... it was time to go to work.

So...

For the holidays, my brother thought the most responsible thing he could get me would be a G-tech Pro RR. For those of you who haven't seen the commercials with the silly guy and the Supra, it's an accelerometer.

It can, if programmed correctly, measure:

G-forces (any direction)
0-60mph
1/4 mile
Net HP
Net Torque
and Top Speed.

I played around with it a bit in my wife's Impreza, but haven't really done much with it with the NSX. So, Dan got ahold of me and figured we could try it out on the most heavily police patrolled day of the year...

After about 6 LEO close calls, we managed the following:

From 3 mph rolling Clutch-drop start (for clutch preserverance):

3.47 0-60mpg
11.61 @128mph 1/4 mile
547 Net HP
518 Net TQ
.88 G's accelletion

There's a video in the Gallery. I'm getting better at calibrating it so it's starting to get really accurate. Any other takers?

I'd do the NSX, but I don't want to embarrass any of you.

HA! I was expecting the 50cal, but I'm sure that did the job!

I know you are on photoshop right now making a Diablo Decepticon. I am to lazy to be a post whore. I just like to read all the threads until my gf yells that I don't pay enough attention to her.

That's usually why most of my posts are either during working hours or VERY late at night

As you clearly see my NSX can pretty much kick the hind end of any sports car or decepticon out there. His name is Drift King. He might come to the next meet if he has nothing more important to do. (Obviously I have nothing more important to do than spend four hours using photoshop)

GO GREEN!

HA HA HA HA!!!

For the performance figures, you don't need the wieght to be that spot-on. For the HP calculations, the weight can be close. The manual says to just go by the Manufacture's stated weight + the passengers.

Oh, and BTW, HAPPY NEW YEARS!
