That sound right at the beginning is worth the $65K. The car is free after that.

I toyed with buying that car in Feb 2012 but bought the QP instead. The asking price was a bit lower, then it went off the market.

DAN!!!! THIS IS THE CAR!!!!!

Being a 95 it has a title and can be a street car as well.

1995 F355 Challenge 2013 CCR Class winner

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

History:
The cars original owner was Tom Pappadoposos. Tom campaigned the car in the USA Ferrari Challenge series. The car was originally white with white interior. The car was sold to Kernel Kurt Carlson, national military hero and an avid car collector. Then the car was painted black by Kurt and ran in the series with Shelton motorcars until 2001. It was sold to an individual who lived in Pennsylvania who converted it for road use. I purchased the car in 2007. It is the current 2013 Challenge Club Racing F355 Class Winner.

Modificato:
The front has a detachable splitter and the rear has a carbon fiber wing. The under tray is made of aircraft aluminum. The windows have been removed and a window net is installed.
The engine was rebuilt in October 2013. At that time titanium valves and lifters were installed. The driveshaft was handmade in Germany. It is lighter and stronger. It was design to handle the stress of racing. The headers are a eight into two exhaust. The shocks and springs are new and customized by Delta-Vee motorsports.

Safety:
The car comes with a Competition Components fire suppression system, window net, the original roll cage, new OMP CF seat, OMP belts and the original doors for side impacts.

Original Equipment:
All the original equipment is included to return this car back to a street machine. This car is an original Challenge car and is fully serviced. It comes with 2 sets of original wheels. The car is currently being offered for sale at $65,000. The buyer is responsible for transportation. This car has a clear title 17,330 miles, Florida registered car. It can have standard auto insurance.
It is ready for the track. It needs nothing.
Included in the sale is all the original equipment.

Was that a Viper in a previous life?

According to the photo properties it says RX7 kit. It came up on google by searching "hideous body kits".

Uggghh. I take back anything bad I might have ever said about this car. This is perfect. Best looking super car since the Carrera GT in my opinion

Think maybe they could have gotten a few more swoops in there somehow? Too cluttered, no body lines. Looks like a kit car with an aftermarket body kit.

Sorry.

Those little Mustangs are neat cars, used to work on a bunch of them as some of my friends were into them big. Stick or auto backing up that 289?

MAJOR REDUCTION 355 Challenge Twin Turbo
See my ad from 5/13 for a complete description. Since I can no longer do trackays or races due to health reasons, I am selling this beautifully custom-built and well prepared (by Classic Coach), great looking, and mechanically excellent 1997 Factory F355 Challenge car AT A MAJOR DISCOUNT. No dings, no accidents, pics are in the original ad.

While it is not road legal, if anyone is looking for a hyper-fast and great handling track car, it's hard to beat any 355 Challenge (more forgiving than a 360 Challenge, which I also owned), much less this uprated 355.

With over 600 RWHP available (I keep the boost at 500 RWHP for total reliability), this car will outrun pretty much anything you would encounter at a track event, with total stability and control.

With 360 Challenge cars going for over $100k and 430 Challenges at more than that, you can blow them all away for half the price. A wonderful car for a beginner due to benign handling, and for a red group expert due to the massive and reliable power.

Selling at a major loss after putting only 2,000 miles on the car over 3 seasons. Cost well over $100K to build. SALE AT $65,000 OBO. Will also consider trade for a nice V-12, old or newer (manual shift only).
