We are now racing magazine test results and have a xxx vs. xxx thread going. Next up, group buy on body kits. Better lock this up fast!

Don't know. This is a one off, not a kit, so a dyno with all the life support connections is needed to get to the edge. I have 8.3 JE forged pistons and Total Seal rings, so we have the right guts in place. A guy on FC (gasp!) Has a supercharged 308QV injected at 10 psi boost.

A supercharged 308, very neat car. How much boost are you running?

6 psi boost and a 2 stage fuel system kicking on the big pump at 1 psi. Not sure yet how much boost I can get by tweaking the pop-off valve before I have to change pulleys, but so far the 6 seems ok. And my current 10 psi on the fuel delivery works out good, 4 psi putting around on the stock pump then 1 added lb of delivery pressure for each added lb of boost.

I attribute my flame pops to my suspected rich jets. The plugs suggest that and the pops confirm. With no cats, pretty open mufflers and short pipes as with most rear/ mid engine cars, that is unburned fuel making it to daylight. I'm a bit surprised to hear that some of your injected cars do it too, even with sophisticated engine management systems.
My tailpipes are long enough they are not at risk of scortching anything, just need to work on my tune some I think.

The logo will make a good front license plate too. I need one for my Yukon and Impala to fly the colors on non rally days.

Sigh...

Even a fire breathing Ferrari can't keep you guys out of the gutter. And that's without the help of tazer boy.

Sounds AMAZING!

Gotta love the flames

I give your 308 5 outta 5 stars

*This post is not overusing the star feature in any way at all currently known...

The "flames" are just lowly brake lights. Sorry to disapoint, but I'll still take your stars!

PM me if you want more information.

Thanks, I saw their grand opening ad in Auto-RV. Not wanting to be their guinea pig, do you know if they are already up and running, have proper AF sensors, etc...?

Thanks Andrew and all. The blower is a Powerdyne unit, not Paxton, but they are similar. My camera takes forever to power up, thus I was almost past when the clip starts so you get the shut down. Oh well, we'll get better stuff this spring I'm sure.
It is different, most of the other blown 308's out there (turbo or SC) are injected cars as it's easy to just puff up the throttle body, so this one gets some attention. My favorite part is the stop light whine, it is subtle but noticable. I don't know the HP, but hope to soon as I need to spend some dyno time to verify my AF ratios and tune for safe power. I think I'm jetted rich now by reading plugs, but I need to dial that in. Don't be too hopeful though, it's still just a little 3 liter. But at 8 grand it is quite an experience. That video barely hits 4k.
