Very cool how much manual labor is involved still. Esp in the body finishing.

Im cheap and lazy and dont like paying for stuff, especially ferrari stuff
did I mention cheap?

cant you just tell me if theres any high miles low priced F40s there?
there cant be more than a handful around

I just figured a $400,000 car purchase would warrant a $30 subscription where you can research any F40 vin history before you waste any time on a "story" car. Weed those out from the good cars before you buy plane tickets.

BTW, I asked Joe Sackey, who has one and keeps a registry, where the avail well sorted drivers are today. He just sold his a couple weeks ago.

Canepa has only 3400 miles
how the hell do you have a car for 19 year and only put 3400 miles on it?!?!?
ferrari owners

and ferrari market letter wont let me do anything cause im not a member

if you come across that one at 350k, let me know

How just 3400 miles? Speculators baby. Bought and warehoused during the heydays. Some guy probably lost a million buck on this one.

I have some buyer's guides on things to watch on these. Price to fix turbo seals, etc...if you are interested. Like all models, there are some nuances. Like on 288 GTO the gearbox magnesium is porus and can leak. Also, when a dealer got a new one in, they knew it would only be there for a day or two, so there are stories that some got the piss ran out of them before delivery.

Dan, call FML and give Carol cc# for an on line subscript.
Tons of info, price indexes, history of all cars via vin.
Good publication even for non owners.

Besides, I'd love to see you driving a 3 series Ferrari!

The June 09 issue of FORZA, shows this on market values:
2005 300-374
2006 325-395
2007 350-450
2008 400-650
Current 350-500

I think Canepa motorsports advertised one recently, and the Ferrarimarketletter.com often list cars not on the market anywhere else.

Konatown's lead sounds interesting!

Of all the cars you ponder, the F40 is the top of my list.
