I just saw "floor it" a few minutes ago driving his black C6Z at SR37/SR32 going north.

Sounds like the days of sneaking around are done. (Not that I do)

I saw a great car at a hotel, but have elected not to post the sighting, "just in case" it shouldn't have been there!

I managed to come across some new 17" Wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Nero's for $80. Some guy that lives by Jason said he was moving soon and didn't want them anymore, so I snatched 'em up!

Lip needs to be refinished, but who cares. I'll do that later. They are a bit heavy, but nothing horrible.

And before Dan, Jason, and Yuki...or even Mark get in here...it's not true. I had no idea.

And you can't beat the price!

Glad to have helped! Those tires are virtually new, so would hope for some better traction. So is the brake upgrade to the 4-pot Wilwoods still happening?

Also, do us a favor and back that car into the sunlight for some better pics with the new shoes. Shadows/darkness are killing that picture. We need a side shot with the new wheels.

Will get better pics soon. Moss Motors now has a kit with drilled slotted rotors, special longer pads used on the factory V8 B's with special compound added, and DOT stainless flex hoses. That whole kit is 1/4 of the cost of the Wildwood kit, so we'll start with that. I suspect it will give as much braking capacity as the tires can handle.

We planned to paint the wheels black or silver, but the gold is starting to grow on me. Old school cool, so we'll leave them gold until you all can weigh in after you see it.
