surprised to see the V10 plus @ "only" $172k. I wonder if that's a misprint. I'm a little disappointed they kept the auto-manual at a $10k premium when it's standard on some other Audi's and a $3-$4k option on Porsche and some of the others.

The v10 plus seems like a screaming buy.

the V10 is an all optioned 2012 V10...you are just getting the ceramics as standard as well as the rear diffuser and splitter in carbon fiber (~~$16k in options then). Reduced engine insulation; okay for sound? heat? dunno, Manual Alcantara seats--less padding, hmm...my butt prefers padding on long rides...and yes I am a fan of automated lumbar support. S tronic transmission is supposed to be other worldly, but I agree with Dan. I want my left leg and calf to be HUGE. The HP and torque bump help get that beast moving too. At some point in driving, HP keeps increasing as does performance; the 'common' man buying these HP monsters probably could not handle the herculean task of operating a clutch/changing gears while traveling near the speed of light. So, let the car do it for them....safety first. That way both hands are always on the wheel....gripping in fear

And both hands will be on the wheels as they slide into the tree or post

Why do u need auto lumbar support? Just turn the nob on the seat for it. whether my diablo or my lawn mower I set the seat and the lumbr where I want it, and never touch it again. Having power seats is dumb and useless in my opinion as it adds weight and height....unless your wife drives it too and you both have a setting. Or a track setting...or for a girl a normal shoes setting and heal setting lol but for me I set th seat, the mirrors and the vents and nevr touch it again....and I'm suuuuuuper anal about it!!! My trucks seat, vents, and mirros hvent moved in about a decade lol
