Great car!
I like that first generation LP400, no wings, flares, etc... Pure.
My favorite however is still the 78-79 LP400S. Dallara (Current Indy car designer) worked for Lamborghini and developed new suspension geometry for the 400 to take advantage of the all new Pirelli P7 supercar tire. So flares were added to cover the new rubber, the body and chassis are dimentionally lower, but still had the same lightweight, raw configuration of the 400, including that wicked 4 liter V12.
The LP400S evolved into a bulkier model as she aged, so the 1980 cars are now know as the second generation 400S, whiule the early S cars are now called S1, or "Low Body".
So here is my favorite car of all time, the 79 LP400s Low Body. And yes Webby, the prices shot thru the roof in the past couple of years, after I sold mine of course!
I possibly could have made 1/2 million on one car if my timing was better.
