I disagree Dan. 80s kids (born in the 70s) got their drivers licenses in the 80s and drove 80s cars (and wanted 80s cars) in high school. That is why 80s cars are beginning to gain more value. The other cars that are gaining are the restomods. They like the look of classic muscle but want them to drive and be reliable like modern cars. The cars that aren't gaining in value are the OE restored classic cars....unless they are something special. (BTW...I was transported directly back to HS when I got behind the wheel of the Saleen. Not that I had a Saleen in HS, but I did have a fox body when I graduated in 1990)

The late 90s kids are are the ones who scare me......they are the "Fast and Furious" kids and will want Japanese cars with tiny 4 cyl engines, big boosters and N2O! ("My car has both nitrous AND NOS".....says late 90s kid who walks into shop)
