Member of Indy Z lost his beloved 2007 NISMO Z this morning in a head-on with an SUV. Good news everyone is OK and out of the hospital now. This happened in a traffic circle in Carmel.

The NISMO Z's days are done. This was a very well loved car and all of Indy Z will toast to the loss of one of our favorite Z's in the club.

Here are a few of the pics I took of the car. Note the strut tower brace that normally lays flat across the top of the engine. The tranny had dropped out of position. The gear shift knob was no longer sticking up out of the tunnel. All the airbags deployed. Car is a mess.

To those of us in Indy Z, losing a Z is akin to losing a friend. We are very loyal to our members, friends and Z's. A moment of silence is very appreciated.

This was a limited edition Z that we are very sad to lose, but grateful the people involved are all safe.

In one, you can see the front left headlight wire connector was actually knocked loose from the impact with antifreeze splattered about.
