Phase 1 - The engine bay and rear decklid get repainted as a result of the 2011 clutch fluid disaster.

Actually, the reason I hadn't been driving her is because I was replacing the brake light switch and replacing the old brake lines with new SS braided lines. It took me three months but i finally finished. (Had to bleed them 3 times - a bloody mess)

Thanks Bill. Actually they're a heavy textured sparkling silver, not white. Very unusual.

Yes Dan, I should have done it over the winter, and when I clean them, I don't use water.......

Michael Leveque of Anderson is doing the work. Comes highly recommended, 1 of only 2 guys in Anderson that do this. He did a Countach a few years ago. Yellow I think.

I believe its magnesium, not aluminum. He's using a 2 part epoxy. Not looking good for Saturday. Still a bit more work to do.

No, not Lambo. These are aftermarket pipes that were only made a few years in the 80s for Panteras and are very loud and very rare. I was lucky and picked up my set from Craigs list a few months after buying the car but they are configured for the later "L" series Pantera which has the fat bumpers, hence the straight back tips. I stopped looking for the Pre-"L" type and decided to simply get mine modified.
