I saw a funky colored Carrera S cabriolet today. Kinda like a light teal color - I think maybe its called Seafoam. It was a 99 or 2000.

I like those, too. That seems like a good price.

BTW, Kristina was following an SLR today on 96th street.

In Louisville I saw a Maserati Convertible and a nice Viper today. Yesterday I spotted a yellow Pantera GTS driving in the rain. I also thought I saw a 512 TR today, but couldn't get a good enough view to be certain.

I also saw a Red NSX for sale on Monday. I went by the same spot it was sitting at today though and it was no longer there.

I saw a yellow/black Smart car heading southbound on I-65 just north of Columbus. That's one brave dude to take one of those out on a four-lane and play with the semi's.

PS, saw a silver SLR in Castleton yesterday.

Eric; glad to see you are out and about.... I am having a new shifter put in the car
and fluids changed out. Also putting new set of Hoosier R6 compund slicks on the car. Next Tuesday is my lapping day at Putnam. Had the car a putnam 3 weeks ago and it was a real learning experience. the R6 compun tires do not like this cold weather at all. Hoever stil did 165mph down the front straight...

Yesterday was a good spotting day when TrixZee and I went exploring backroads of Brown County while mapping out new routes. Boy-O-Boy did we find a great road in the middle of nowhere...fresh asphalt surrounded and shaded by forest canopy through a state forest...speed limit...20! Also found some roads perfect for a WRX, Jeep or any other cart that has clearance and lack of concern for front-end alignment...not so good for the Z.

Onto the spottings:
- Either a Triumph TR3 or Austin Healey Sprite - Red, seen from 465 in a parking lot on the eastside. Saw it at the last minute and didn't get a good look at the grill, just the bug eye lights.
- Willy's Overland in Franklin. Quizno's sign on the side, parked at an Arby's.
- C6 Vettes, too numerous to count. Did see one of the orangey colored Pace Cars in Franklin.
- 300ZX (Z31) with wing in Franklin.
- Porsche - Silver - no clue which model, heading east on Hwy 44, west of Franklin. Obviously having fun by the RPM sound, we passed each other, we were headed west toward Hwy 135, it was on a blind corner and over fast.
- LEO's (city, county & state) everwhere and seriously earning their paychecks.

My mom had a car and pegged the speedo at 165 with me driving, she hit 135 with me in the passenger seat. Dan...my mom is in her 60's.

Have to admit, after rolling a car and literally walking away, she slowed down.

East on Hwy 45.
Right onto N Shore Dr which becomes E Anderson Rd
Right onto Bean Blossom Rd
Left at Stop sign at "T" on Main Forest Rd (no street sign)
Left onto Old Hwy 37 - unmarked, but obvious
Left onto E Farr Rd - possible ROUGH, I still need to drive it
Right onto E Anderson Rd - possible ROUGH, was a year ago.
(E Farr Rd & E Anderson Rd can be bypassed by staying on Old Hwy 37)
Left onto Old Hwy 37
Left onto E Robinson Rd
Left onto N Miller - VERY ROUGH
Straight onto N Shilo - EXTREMELY ROUGH
(N Miller & N Shilo can be bypassed by staying on E Robinson to N Tunnel)
Left onto N Tunnel at stop sign - unmarked
Right onto S Shore - lots of houses, but nice view of lake
Right onto Hwy 45
Right onto Bethel Lane
Right onto Boltinghouse - VERY ROUGH
(Boltinghouse can be bypassed by staying on Bethel Lane to Old Hwy 37)
Right onto Old Hwy 37
Left onto Fox Hollow Rd. Unmarked left just after E Anderson Rd on Right. - ROUGH.
(Fox Hollow can be bypassed by turning Left onto the first unmarked street just after E Robinson on the right at Old Hwy 37. This will bring you to Hwy 37, just 1 exti south of Oliver Winery - was tad rough last year, but short section)
Right onto Hwy 37 a little north of Bloomington.

If the DOT ever repaves N Miller and N Shilo, I will be one very happy boy.
DOT had recently been trough the area filling potholes. They missed a few...OK... more than a few.

I'm still working on the map of this section. Will have finished by this weekend.

TrixZee and I mapped out a 2.5 hour backroads drive from Franklin to Oliver Winery. The above is part of it.
