Not talking to a wall, just you get out more and are surrounded by parking lots.

Some of the amazing cars I saw today. 90% of them were on Rush St.
Most of the Lambos were at the Gold Coast dealership, but the Superleggera was a street sighting, as was the Carrera GT.
Some cars I did not get pictures of: silver 360 Modena, gray '59 Cadillac.

Full album here:
[#url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5taWR3ZXN0c2NjLmNvbS9waG90b3MucGhwJiM2MzthbGJ1bT0xNjU=#]aHR0cDovL3d3dy5taWR3ZXN0c2NjLmNvbS9waG90b3MucGhwJiM2MzthbGJ1bT0xNjU=[#/url#]

Superleggera, sounded even better than the Carrera GT. Cool plate too (SNKCHMR)

Lamborghini Gold Coast. They also had a black Veyron, white LP640 roadster, red Diablo 6.0, McLaren SLR, and others inside the dealership

I had to chase this car on foot for 10 blocks before I finally caught up with it pulled over in front of Tavern on Rush. Well worth it but somehow my camera's ISO got set to 1600 and I didn't notice = really grainy pictures

And some randoms

Best spotting of the day

"had to run 10 blocks..." We're going to have to start calling you Stalker! LOL!

Chicago just has soooooo many more cars than Indy, but then we have less traffic. I'm kind of OK with that trade-off.

When he first drove by I only got 4 pictures. And I was watching it disappearing into the distance and suddenly I thought, "This is the first CGT on the road I've ever seen, there is NO way I'm only settling for 4 pictures" and at that point I started running after it I almost caught up but then he pulled away again so I was still running along Rush St. just hoping that he'd pull over somewhere and luckily he did

Oh btw in one of the LP640 shots you can see the CGT sneaking up in the distance

Nice shot Webby of that white 59 thrown in there, so above is a 63 I saw last week at lunch time in Indy. That one gave me Corvette fever so we took ours out today for a couple hundred miles.

Saw a beautiful yellow 442 vert and a Ranchero yesterday in Noblesville, but missed getting pics of either.

Saw a ~65-66 Stingray Saturday in Greenwood, but I was sitting in a restaurant when it went by. Camera was in the car, food was in front of me. Sorry, hunger won out.

Saw William & his wife twice, but they were in a HUGE SUV. Not nearly as nice as the Pantera, but certainly has a lot more room.

dunno why but thats a really good picture. i usually cannot stand trees/poles in the background but the orange makes it stand out enough that it's not annoying.

Everything was on Rush Street, outside of the Bentley Gold Coast dealer. Not just the dealer & customer cars, but also all of the spottings were pretty much on that street corner - both Maseratis, the vintage Rolls, the Superleggera, the Carrera GT, 550 Spyder, 575 Maranello, Bentley Arnage, etc. Good spot to hang out. Also if you go north on Rush St., there is an outdoor pavilion area across from "Tavern on Rush", which is another good place to just sit and watch the cars go by. If you're ever thinking of going, let me know and we can meet up

I'll be in downtown Chicago on the 10th. I thought you were by Notre Dame?

and the XK...damn. Apparently used XK8s go for about 40k now!! That's 50% off list for a year old XK.

ND's only 2 hours away from Chicago. If I'm not too busy on the 10th I'll let you know. Those XKs are depreciating pretty badly but I saw at least 5 people come up to the car to check it out, something I've never seen with the previous design.

Spotting for Webby...sorry, camera wasn't ready, so I found this on the web.

Chrysler Imperial. It was black and immaculate.

There was old Amercain Iron all over the place on the southside of Indy yesterday. You'd have been going nuts.

Thanks Mark! I just found out about some kind of vintage racing event in South Bend a couple weeks from now... mainly American cars. Can't wait to go there.

Nice spotting! I know of one person who has a "thing" for red Italian cars but he sold his Murci a while ago.

I forgot about that guy at the Artomobile event. He wasn't very friendly to most of us.

Holy crap, first the Continental GT, then the Maybach, now this one trumps both of them.

Brand new Bentley Azure, just bought from Bentley Zionsville. Custom plate indicated a 1971 ND grad

Also a Challenger, first one I've seen

And a '69 Camaro

This was kind of cheating, but I am going to post it here anyway

I spotted a Ferrari F40 yesterday with Indiana plates, the owner drove it to Churchill Downs for the Louisville Concours. It was such a nice car, they asked him to park it in the field with the rest of the Ferraris. It wasn't entered to be there.

Anyone know this one? The guy drove it from wherever he came from, he didn't trailer it down here.

I think i know who owns it.

If the plate was "F40" the dude's a turd. I "Met" him at a thing in Noblesville a while back, and he didnt even talk to me at all, even when i asked him about the car.
