I washed my rims yesterday so I thought I'd take advantage of them being "chrome" instead of "brake dust brown" for once and get some good pictures.

Went up Lake Shore with my friend in his red Viper and we took some pictures, then on the way down we swapped cars.

After seeing my car driving from the outside for the first time, I have to say, she is gorgeous! And I'm glad I went with silver.

Here is what my rims usually look like for comparison... yuck..

Yeah it's nice to see what other people see!

I'm going to get my fluids changed this Saturday so I can't come, but I will be coming down in a week or two

It's a Viper Club of Illinois plate, they're numbered 00-99, but you can only wear them from Aug - Oct 87 is my birth year. They do it every other year to coincide with the national Viper owners meeting

Those are some massive Pilot Sports on that thing. Might take a mortgage to replace them, and I suppose by now you have done a massive burnout, right?

Not yet, I've peeled out a few times but no burn outs

The funny thing is everybody in the Viper club complains about these "run flats" and says tires are the first thing I need to upgrade (to Super Sports)

We went on another cruise today, longer this time (about 70 miles) and a blue/white GTS joined us. Makes me miss the old cruises we used to have in Indy

Here are two short videos of the blue one... insane exhaust (Borla + straight pipes)

Mine came with runcraps and I have been much happier with my BFG tires. Better ride quieter.

Part of me is considering run flats for the next set. AAA takes FOREVER to show up and the spare in the Z is not stored inflated. Has an air canister that is impossible to find replacements for.

Apparently I have different tires on the back. My friend said they look like Gen IV stock tires while on the front I have Gen III. Weird...

You've got the life Andrew, living in Chicago...I am jealous. I would be cruising up and down Lakeshore just enjoying my exhaust bouncing off the buildings. Your car is beautiful, I know you are really enjoying it. Have fun, winter is around the corner
