We've seen Jason's vision and your vision of your wife's new car. What is her vision?

My Mother once told me that my parents had been out looking at MGs and almost bought me one for my sixteenth birthday. They decided if I were involved in an accident there wasn't much car to protect me.

There are some things you just never need to know.

Good question. Her vision seems to be right between the two above mentioned programs. First steps are wheels, lower it, big brakes, good belts, roll bar. These are properly comissioned by her plans. Note they all lean toward safety, because you're right, there is not much car there if you need some protection.

Well I've always believed that when it's your time to go....it's your time. I don't care how much car you have around you. I did have my Dad's lead foot and I think someone in my gene pool invited Offensive driving, but still, I almost had an MG.

So instead I inherited the family Buick, which was a pretty cool car. 2 dr, Emerald Green with Black top & interior. Then inherited by Brother's VW.....which wasn't much protection either, but great in a snow storm.....memories!! Somehow I sent both of those cars to the junkyard.

I agree. Although I've never met Mrs. SMS personally, I have seen her on a couple of events and I don't see her wearing a helmet driving her new MG. I see her more with the wind in her hair, wearing Hollywood sunglasses, her scarf flapping in the breeze.

I'm jealous...is that apparent?

TrixZee, she laughed at your post. We took it out last evening and when she backed out of the garage, she had on her big Hollywood sunglasses, just for you.

Also, after driving about 100 yards, she said, yeah, lets start with the brakes..... and this window crank that just came off in my hand.

Casey had a great line Saturday. While looking at the car and discussing engine swaps with Mrs SMS he says, "We can make anything fit, we're from Southern Indiana!"

Those are pretty! Looks like 4-pot calipers on about a 10" rotor to fit 14" rims?
Safe to assume you are installing discs front and rear?

Will Mrs SMS miss having a parking brake when you install these? I did see Wilwood has a new single pot caliper that allows you to integrate a parking brake cable. But who wants single pot with you can have 4-pot?

What's the bolt pattern and offset you need?
114.3 x4 with 0 offset fits the 70-83 Z's

SMS...In the 1st of the two pics you posted of the track cars, the car is sitting on a set of Enkei mesh wheels, gold with polished lip. A buddy has a set for sale, in good shape, I think 14x6 with 114.3x4 bolt pattern and zero offset. Let me know if you are interested and i can verify. Wheels are in Kokomo.

114.3 (or as we American car owners lovingly call 4.5 inches) is correct for the B. We looking more for a 15" wheel, but if the price is right, I could consider your friends wheels and turn them to silver from gold. Let me know what he is asking. Thanks.

Sorry...us Foreign car owners do Metric.

I'll follow-up later today with details, verify size ( could be 15", but thinking 14" ), pricing, etc.
