Same 67 RS with the 68 sister car on the right.

Funny story from the previous owner on the 68. He sent it to the body shop with instructions to paint it black with white stripes. Oops. He decided he liked it white, so he took it. Worked out good for me in this his and her's matching set.

9.85/138 mph big block 67. Dana rear with 4:88's Turbo 400 automatic.
Monster big block, built by me and machine work from Steve Schmidt, NHRA Pro Stock racer.
That one does look like a monster. Any preference between 67, 68, or 69?

I think my favorite year is the 67. It changes from time to time, but generally I always come back to that. A 69 ZL1 car would probably change my mind however.

Speaking of 67s:

White base Camaro with blue interior. The twin to Robin's white/blue Nova convertible we had at the same time. This car was a manual trans and a great driver. I went to an auto auction to look for a small 4 wd suv for the west Michigan winter and saw this. The auction co had a classic car sale the weekend prior, and this car did not sell, so they left it on the grounds for the wholesale day. Stole it as it was mixed in with the usual dealer mini vans and off lease 3 year old Caddys. No classic car buyers knew it was there! Bought this and an ML430 that day.

by the way Bill, every single one of your Camaro's look amazing!

I met a guy yesterday who has a 69, it's blue with white stripes. He bought it in high school, sold it when he had a kid, and bought it back again when his son graduated. Everything's original except the person he sold it too had it repainted but it was the original color still, had some nasty scratches he said.

Did you guys see the Papa John's Camaro saga?

He sold his 70 Z-28 for $1200 to start a Pizza business. Missed the car so he recently put out a call to locate it with a $25,000 reward. No bites, so he raised the reward to $250,000.
A guy called him and said he had owned it, but sold to a guy in Ky. They found it, and the tipster collected the $25,000 and the lucky owner sold it back for the $250,000.

Papa John's was so happy they offered a free pizza day to everyone driving a Camaro.

98 Z-28 6 speed.

Z06 Corvette LS6 crate motor installed because the original LS1 ventilated the block above the starter when a rod broke. (the 98s had chronic weak rod bolts)

I gave the old block and heads to Excessive81 to use as a boat anchor or planter or something.
