Jay Leno discusses the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita on his website and he chats with Christian Koenigsegg about this special edition car. Linkage

TREVITA

"The Trevita was limited to only three cars hence the name Trevita, which means Three white in Swedish. The Trevita features a koenigsegg proprietary glittering silvery white carbon composite fabric. Apart from the unique composte material and the partially painted wheels it has the specification as the Special Edition CCXR." - source for text was www.koenigsegg.com

"CCX is an abbreviation for Competition Coupé X; the X commemorating the 10th anniversary, (being the Roman numeral for ten) and the R means it can run on biofuel." - source for text was wiki.

As much horsepower as a Veyron, half the weight, sold in the states. Now where's my lotto ticket?

In 2006 the regular CCX would run you like $695k (going from memory) and back then the car had like 800hp but the cool thing was that you could get it in a good old fashioned stick shift. The one pictured above has the flappy paddle gear box.

There's a still brand new 2008 CCXR (with a real stick) for sale here.

This particular one is stunning but the price isn't listed.
