As you've probably read on the other YouTube posts, the car was owned by the late Benny Caiola, who passed away in April. His family brought out some of Benny's cars to the track for what was to be an 80th birthday celebration now turned memorial. I took a few shots of the truck before they hauled them back to Benny's garage.
You've got to appreciate guys like Benny. Immigrated from Italy to New York at age 16, learned the plastering trade, started working rehabing appartment buildings. Saved his money, formed his own construction company and started to buy those same buildings - and more, and more, until he owned 30 appartment buildings thoughout Manhattan. He has one of the largest Ferrari collections in the US.
And to top it all off, he died in 2010 - and his three sons inherit everything free of Federal estate tax. Screw you, IRS!
