dan, I get the impression Young Kim (Gator MotorSports) has a really great exotics mechanic if you don't want to take it out of town.

The place i sent mine to, people send their Lambos to from all over the world for work
Dude has Murias in for total restoration! Countaches from europe etc

Im spending more on the Diablo for clutch work etc this month than my yearly mortgage runs, and i could not care less.
It aint no thang, i knew about all these expences before i bought the car.

I look at it this way, it still cheaper than any kid, any wife, all the vacations, clothes, jewerly etc it take to keep one happy etc.

A few K a year or several k every several years is just a minor blip on the radar.
Shit a truck and trailer solves any service issues, just trailed mine to ohio. No biggie, if not a flatbed.

If taking care of a car is hard for you guys, you really need some real challenges and adversity in your lives.
The way your car is used it makes sense for you to have a true exotic. Tow it of flatbed it for service and drive your pickup while your toy is being fixed or serviced. but for me to need a new clutch or slave cylinder in Deadwood SD I'd have to buy a pickup, rent a trailer and tow it to CA or OH for service. I can get my POS vette serviced where ever I am and that's comforting for an old man.

We had a new Vette come through work. Still had the dealer plate on. Totaled. Guy put it into a ditch.

If people keep crashing New Corvettes maybe we will have to have Corvette days Instead of a Viper days,,,,,

For pure vettee people taillights are supposed to be round

The tail of this car looks disturbingly like a Camaro

I duuno Jim, not sure I'm on board with the "Vettes have round tail lights" philosophy yet.

Just a fad that started in 1961. I really doubt it will catch on...

... a few more pics, and finally a decent interior!
Definitely a super car to be taken seriously now.
Cheers,
